Lasagna

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 lb. Italian sausage
  2. 1 lb. ground round
  3. 1/2 large onion
  4. 1/2 green pepper
  5. 1/4 c. celery
  6. 1/2 tsp. oregano
  7. 1/4 tsp. garlic
  8. salt and pepper to taste
  9. 1 large can tomatoes
  10. 1 jar Ragu
  11. 1 large can tomato paste
  12. 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
  13. 1 pkg. Parmesan cheese
  14. 1 container Ricotta cheese
  15. 10 lasagna noodles

Directions

  1. Simmer beef and sausage until brown.
  2. Drain all fat.
  3. Simmer onion, pepper and celery until tender.
  4. Add to beef mixture.
  5. Add oregano, salt, pepper and garlic, tomatoes, tomato paste and Ragu sauce.
  6. Simmer while cooking noodles.
  7. Layer sauce, noodles, Mozzarella, Ricotta and sauce.
  8. Should make 3 layers.
  9. Bake at 375° for 35 minutes.
  10. Let cool 10 minutes.
