Russian Tea Cakes
- 1 c. oleo/butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Mix oleo/butter, powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Sift the remaining ingredients and add to the mixture.
- Chill dough and roll into 1-inch balls.
- Bake 10 minutes at 400°.
- While still warm, roll in powdered sugar.
