Breakfast Casserole(Serves 8)

Ingredients

  1. 6 oz. long grain and wild rice
  2. 1 lb. ground beef or turkey
  3. 1 large onion, chopped
  4. 8 oz. sliced water chestnuts
  5. 2 3/4 oz. sliced almonds
  6. 1 lb. hot sausage
  7. 8 oz. canned mushrooms
  8. 3 Tbsp. soy sauce

Directions

  1. Brown meats and onion.
  2. Drain fat.
  3. Cook rice as directed. Combine all ingredients into a 3-quart glass casserole dish.
  4. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
