Fried Whitefish(Modern)

Ingredients

  1. 2 lb. whitefish
  2. 1 tsp. salt
  3. 2 eggs
  4. 1/2 c. flour
  5. 1/4 c. cornmeal
  6. 1/4 c. bread crumbs
  7. lard

Directions

  1. Beat eggs.
  2. Salt fish and dip into eggs.
  3. Mix flour, cornmeal and bread crumbs for breading.
  4. Dip fish in breading.
  5. Fry in hot lard for 4 to 5 minutes on each side.
