Cheese Squash

Ingredients

  1. 2 lb. summer squash
  2. 1 medium onion, chopped
  3. 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
  4. 1 Tbsp. sugar
  5. 2 eggs, beaten
  6. 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
  7. 1 tsp. ground sage
  8. paprika
  9. salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Cook squash in
  2. small
  3. amount
  4. of
  5. boiling salted water until tender.
  6. Combine
  7. all
  8. ingredients
  9. except 1/2 of cheese and paprika.
  10. Pour into buttered casserole and place remaining cheese on top and
  11. sprinkle with paprika.
  12. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Sage is the surprise in this combination.
