Scalloped Oysters



  1. 3 doz. oysters, cleaned and shucked
  2. 1 c. toasted, crushed crackers
  3. 1 stick butter
  4. 1/2 pt. cream (half and half)
  5. salt and pepper
  6. parsley


  1. Salt and pepper the oysters and place a layer in bottom of a buttered baking dish.
  2. Cover with a layer of cracker crumbs and dot with butter.
  3. Continue to layer until dish is full.
  4. Sprinkle with parsley flakes and pour the cream over.
  5. Bake 15 minutes at 400°.
