Stuffed Hamburgers



  1. hamburg
  2. dill pickles
  3. oleo or shortening
  4. 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce (with mushrooms)
  5. salt
  6. pepper
  7. onion


  1. Prepare hamburg for patties with salt and a little pepper. Make individual patties.
  2. Place a slice of dill pickle and a thin slice of onion.
  3. Fold patty over and seal.
  4. Brown in a little oleo or shortening.
  5. Pour the tomato sauce over the patties. Simmer 30 to 45 minutes.
