Golden Cream Soup

Ingredients

  1. 3 c. chopped potatoes
  2. 1/2 c. chopped celery
  3. 1/4 c. chopped onion
  4. 1 chicken bouillon cube
  5. 1 1/2 c. milk
  6. dash of pepper
  7. 1 c. water
  8. 1/2 c. carrots, sliced
  9. 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  10. 1/2 tsp. salt
  11. 2 Tbsp. flour
  12. 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed

Directions

  1. In large pan combine potatoes, water, celery, carrots, onion, parsley, bouillon and seasonings.
  2. Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
  3. Gradually add milk to flour in a separate bowl.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Add to the vegetables.
  6. Cook until thick.
  7. Add cheese. Simmer until melted.
