Glazed Butternut Squash

Ingredients

  1. 2 butternut squash
  2. 1/2 c. white sugar
  3. 1/2 c. brown sugar
  4. 1/2 c. water
  5. 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter

Directions

  1. Cut squash into 3-inch pieces.
  2. Pare and parboil until tender; drain.
  3. Place in shallow baking pan.
  4. Heat remaining ingredients, pour over squash.
  5. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes, basting with syrup until glazed.
  6. Makes 6 servings.
