Barbarakuchen(German Lemon Cake)
- 1 3/4 sticks butter or margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 c. cornstarch
- 3/4 to 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 cap full lemon extract
- Mix the butter until smooth; slowly add the sugar, eggs and the mixture of flour, cornstarch and baking powder.
- Add the lemon extract.
- Pour batter into greased loaf pan.
- Bake 60 to 75 minutes in 350° oven.
