- 1 box chicken flavored Rice-A-Roni
- 1 fryer, cooked and boned
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1/2 c. diced celery
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can golden mushroom soup
- 1 can water chestnuts
- 1 c. shredded mild Cheddar cheese
- Cook Rice-A-Roni as directed on package.
- Saute onion, pepper and celery in margarine.
- Mix with rice. Add diced chicken. Add water chestnuts and soups (undiluted). Top with cheese.
- Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
