Mildred Pardue'S Blue Ribbon Carrot Cake

Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 c. plain flour
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 c. grated raw carrots
- 4 eggs (unbeaten)
- 1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions
- Mix dry ingredients; add eggs and oil. Beat on low speed until well mixed. Stir in carrots and nuts. Pour into 3 greased and floured 8-inch cake pans. Bake in 300° oven 1 hour.
