Monkey Bread

Ingredients

  1. 4 (10 count) cans biscuits
  2. 1 1/2 c. sugar, divided
  3. 2 tsp. cinnamon, divided
  4. 1 1/4 sticks margarine

Directions

  1. Grease Bundt or tube pan.
  2. Mix together 3/4 cup sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon.
  3. Cut each biscuit in fourths, using scissors to do this.
  4. Shake pieces from one can at a time in the sugar/cinnamon mixture.
  5. Place these into cake pan.
  6. Melt margarine, 3/4 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon together and pour over biscuit pieces in cake pan.
  7. Bake 35 minutes at 350°.
  8. They may be done sooner.
  9. Turn out on cake plate.
  10. Break off in bits.
  11. Do not cook in two-piece angel food pan.
  12. All the butter will leak out!
