Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 c. margarine
  2. 1 tall can evaporated milk
  3. 4 c. sugar
  4. 32 marshmallows
  5. 4 sq. baking chocolate
  6. 9 oz. bar milk chocolate
  7. 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate
  8. 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  9. 2 c. chopped nuts

Directions

  1. Combine margarine, milk and sugar in Dutch oven.
  2. Place over medium
  3. heat
  4. until
  5. sugar is dissolved.
  6. Heat slowly to boiling. Cover and boil 5 minutes. Turn off heat if electric stove.
  7. If gas
  8. stove,
  9. turn
  10. warmer
  11. as low as possible.
  12. Add marshmallows. Stir
  13. until
  14. dissolved.
  15. Add each of chocolate, one at a
  16. time. Stir
  17. until
  18. melted.
  19. Add
  20. vanilla and nuts. Pour into 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan.
  21. Cut when firm.
  22. Makes about 5 pounds.
