Apple Cheddar Stuffed Chicken Breast



  1. 2 whole Chicken Breasts
  2. 1/2 cups Chopped Apple
  3. 2 Tablespoons Cheddar Cheese
  4. 1 Tablespoon Italian Style Bread Crumbs
  5. 1 Tablespoon Butter
  6. 1/4 cups Dry White Wine
  7. 1/4 cups Water
  8. 1- 1/2 teaspoon Cornstarch, Dissolved In Some Water


  1. Pound chicken out to 1/4-inch thickness.
  2. Combine apple, cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs.
  3. Put half of the mixture in each chicken breast.
  4. Roll up and secure with a toothpick.
  5. In a medium saucepan, melt butter and fry chicken, rotating to brown on each side.
  6. Pour wine and water into the pan, turn heat down to medium-low and simmer for 15 minutes, until chicken is done.
  7. Combine cornstarch and water; add to the sauce to thicken.
  8. Enjoy.
  9. This is great with roasted asparagus.
