Apricot-Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  1. 2 cups dried cranberries
  2. 12 cup chopped dried apricot
  3. 12 cup raisins
  4. 34 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  5. 14 teaspoon allspice
  6. 14 teaspoon ground ginger
  7. 1 pinch ground cloves
  8. 5 12 cups water
  9. 34 cup sugar
  10. 12 cup cider vinegar

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cranberries, apricots, raisins and spices.
  2. Mix well, then set aside.
  3. Combine the water and sugar in the saucepan.
  4. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to medium.
  5. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  6. Add the dried fruit mixture and vinegar.
  7. Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce the heat.
  8. Simmer the sauce for 10 minutes or until the fruit is tender.
  9. Let sauce cool and serve.
