Apple n Swiss Mac & Cheese

Ingredients
- 4 cups Pasta, Any Shape
- 3 cups Diced Apples
- 1 pound Boneless, Skinless Chicken, Diced
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil (or A Splash)
- 1 Tablespoon Black Pepper
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 2 teaspoons Rubbed Sage
- 1 pint Whipping Cream
- 1 stick Butter
- 18 ounces, weight Swiss Cheese, Cubed
- 1 Tablespoon All-purpose Flour
Directions
- Cook the pasta according to the directions on the box.
- Drain and set aside when done.
- Combine apples, chicken and olive oil in a large skillet.
- Place over a medium heat and cook for about 10 minutes or until the chicken is done.
- Season with black pepper, salt and rubbed sage.
- Remove skillet from heat and set aside.
- Add whipping cream and butter into a large saucepan and heat slowly until the butter is melted.
- Add cubed Swiss cheese stir occasionally.
- When the cheese is almost all the way melted, add in flour and mix or whisk well until there are no lumps.
- Once you are certain the cheese is melted add pasta and apples into the skillet with chicken.
- Mix well, heat for a minute or two over medium heat and then serve hot.
- Add extra salt or pepper to taste.
