Amy's Black Bean Dip



  1. 28 ounces goya black beans, undrained (large can)
  2. 3 garlic cloves, finely minced (teny tiny pieces)
  3. 12 onion, diced
  4. canola oil, for sauteing


  1. Saute garlic and onion in 1/2-1 -inch canola oil.
  2. DO NOT BROWN, but let cook until soft 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add undrained beans and cook on low while mashing.
  4. Note: These beans do get thick-you can add a little water if you want a thinner dip.
