Asian Salmon Burger

Ingredients

  1. 2 pounds Salmon, Skinned And De-boned
  2. 1 cup Green Onion, Thinly Sliced
  3. 1/4 cups Cilantro, Minced
  4. 1/4 cups Parsley, Minced
  5. 1/2 whole Jalapeno, Minced
  6. 2 whole Eggs
  7. 2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
  8. 1 teaspoon Salt
  9. 1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
  10. 6 whole Burger Buns
  11. Spicy Herb Dip (See My Recipe Box)
  12. Spicy Pickled Cucumbers (see My Recipe Box)
  13. Spicy Pickled Red Onions

Directions

  1. 1.
  2. Using a large sharp knife, dice the salmon.
  3. Place in a bowl and set aside.
  4. 2.
  5. Add the green onion, minced herbs, jalapeno, eggs, sesame oil and salt.
  6. 3.
  7. Mix really well and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
  8. 4.
  9. Preheat a BBQ grill to medium heat.
  10. 5.
  11. When the mixture is nice and cold, gently mix in the panko bread crumbs.
  12. You should have a thick enough consistency to form a patty.
  13. 6.
  14. On a sheet pan, form 6 patties.
  15. 7.
  16. BBQ the salmon patties for about 4 minutes on each side.
  17. 8.
  18. To assemble the burgers, generously spread buns with Spicy Herb Dip and then put the burger on the bottom bun.
  19. 9.
  20. Pile the burger with Spicy Pickled Cucumbers and the Sweet and Spicy Pickled Red Onions.
  21. 10.
  22. Top with the other half of the bun and enjoy immediately.
