Almonds Mocha Recipe



  1. 6 Tbsp. Sugar
  2. 2 Tbsp. Unsweetened cocoa pwdr
  3. 1 Tbsp. Instant coffee granules
  4. 1 x Egg white
  5. 2 c. Whole natural almonds


  1. Preheat oven to 325 F. In container of electric blender, combine all ingredients except egg white and almonds.
  2. Blend 30 seconds, pulsing on and off; set aside.
  3. In large bowl whisk egg white till opaque and frothy.
  4. Add in almonds; toss to coat.
  5. Add in sugar mix; toss gently to coat proportionately.
  6. Oil, or possibly coat a baking sheet with vegetable cooking spray.
  7. Arrange almonds on baking sheet in single layer.
  8. Bake in center of oven 15 min.
  9. Gently toss almonds and arrange again in single layer.
  10. Continue to bake 15 min longer; toss gently.
  11. Turn off oven.
  12. Leave almonds in oven with door ajar 15 min.
  13. Remove from oven; cold completely.
