1986 Winner: Impatient Person's "I'm Hungry" Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 c. Unsalted butter, softened
- 8 ounce Cream cheese, softened
- 11/2 c. Sugar
- 1 x Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 3 c. Flour
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
Directions
- Preparation Time: 20 min
- Chilling Time: Several hrs
- Baking Time: 10 to 15 min

- Cream butter and cream cheese in large mixer bowl.
- Beat in sugar till smooth.
- Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Stir in flour and baking pwdr.
- Refrigerateseveral hrs.

- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Roll dough into small balls.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Flatten with a glass which has been dipped in vanilla sugar (sugar in that you have stored a vanilla bean) or possibly plain sugar.

- Bake 10 to 15 min, till the edges are lightly browned.
- Cold on wire racks.
