Apple Crumble



  1. 4 granny smith apples
  2. 1 cup plain flour
  3. 2 ounces butter
  4. 1 cup desiccated coconut
  5. 34 cup raw sugar or 34 cup brown sugar or 34 cup white sugar
  6. 2 Weet-Bix, crumbled


  1. Peel, core and chop apples.
  2. Stew in a pot with a little water and a sprinkling of sugar if necessary.
  3. When cooked, pour into a pie dish.
  4. Crumble:.
  5. Add flour in a bowl and rub in butter.
  6. Add all other dry ingredients and mix well.
  7. Pat onto top of apple and bake in a moderate oven for 40 minutes.
  8. Serve warm with cream and/or ice cream.
