Almost Instant Tortellini and Cheese With Chicken (Better Homes



  1. 1 (9 ounce) packagerefrigerated cheese tortellini
  2. 1 cup frozen peas
  3. 1 (8 ounce) container cream cheese spread (garden vegetable flavor or chive and onion)
  4. 12 cup milk
  5. 1 (9 ounce) packagefrozen chopped cooked chicken breasts


  1. In a large saucepan cook tortellini according to package directions.
  2. Place frozen vegetable in colander.
  3. Drain the hot pasta over vegetables to thaw; return pasta-vegetable mixture to pan.
  4. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan combine cream cheese and milk; heat and stir until cheese is melted.
  5. Heat chicken according to package directions.
  6. Stir cheese sauce into cooked pasta-vegetable mixture.
  7. Cook and gently stir until heated through.
  8. Spoon into individual serving bowls.
  9. Top with chicken.
  10. Makes 4 servings.
