- 1 liter apple juice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 teaspoon clove
- 1 lemon, zest of, julienned
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- Combine ingredients in a saucepan and gently heat to boil.
- Simmer gently, covered, for 5-10 minutes.
- Remove from heat, transfer into a bottle and refrigerate overnight.
- When ready to serve, sieve the mixture and gently reheat to boiling point.
