Amish Custard Pie

Ingredients
- 13 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons flour, all-purpose
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 large eggs
- 3 cups milk
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 each pie shell (9 inch) unbaked 9 inches
Directions
- Combine sugar, flour, salt and eggs and mix until smooth.
- Heat milk to boiling point.
- Add 1 cup hot milk to egg mixture.
- Pour that into the remaining hot milk.
- Pour into unbaked pie shell.
- Sprinkle nutmeg over top.
- Bake at 350F (180C).
- for 45 to 60 minutes.
