Anita's White Wine Steak Filet

Ingredients

  1. 1 lb. filet steak, cut into strips
  2. 1/2 lb. field mushrooms, finely diced
  3. 1-1/4 tsp. cracked steak pepper
  4. 1/4 tsp. sea salt
  5. 1 tsp. dried oregano
  6. 2 md. spanish onions, finely diced
  7. 3/4 bottle dry white wine
  8. 1/2 to 1 pint fresh double cream, according to taste

Directions

  1. Fry steak strips, mushrooms, onions and spices in butter for 5 minutes.
  2. Add wine and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add fresh cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Serve with fresh crusty bread.
