"Second Only to My Meatloaf" Meatballs"

Ingredients
- 1 -1 12 lb ground beef (or turkey, if desired)
- 12 cup oatmeal
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- 12 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
Directions
- Mix together all the ingredients for the meatballs in large mixing bowl.
- Shape into balls the size of golf balls.
- Place meatballs in shallow baking dish.
- Combine sauce ingredients.
- Pour over meat.
- Bake at 350 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Sauce should be caramelized, but not dry.
- Meatballs can be made ahead of time and frozen.
- (Place frozen meatballs in pan; cover with sauce and bake.
- Baking time may vary) I've never done it with this recipe, but the crockpot could be a possibility!
