Another Italian Meatball Recipe



  1. 1 lb ground beef
  2. 1 egg
  3. 14 cup milk
  4. 12 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  5. 12 teaspoon salt
  6. 12 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  7. 14 cup chopped fresh Italian parsley
  8. 14 cup chopped fresh basil
  9. 2 garlic cloves, minced
  10. 14 cup parmesan cheese
  11. 8 cups marinara sauce (use your favorite) or 8 cups spaghetti sauce (use your favorite)
  12. additional parmesan cheese, to taste


  1. Put sauce in a large pot on the oven to simmer.
  2. Mix all the ingredients, except for sauce, in a large bowl until blended, but be careful not to overmix.
  3. Roll meat mixture into meatballs of your preferred size (I made them on the smaller side, probably the size of a golf ball).
  4. Drop them into the simmer sauce and cover.
  5. Simmer for 1 to 3 hours.
  6. Serve with additional parmesan cheese, to taste.
