AMIEs KALE Roll
- 1/2 kg kale
- 1/4 kg beef, ground
- 1/4 kg pork, ground
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 1/2 cup rice (raw) optional
- 1 cup tomatoe sauce or 1 cup fresh tomatoes, chopped
- Boil the vegetable (kale) for 5 minutes.
- Remove from water and separate leaves.
- Mix remaining ingredients together, except tomatoes.
- Stuff leaves with filling and roll.
- Fasten with toothpick.
- Arrange in a saucepan.
- Pour tomatoes, cover and simmer about 1 1/2 hours in a low heat.
- Serve, share and enjoy!
