AMIEs KALE Roll

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 kg kale
  2. 1/4 kg beef, ground
  3. 1/4 kg pork, ground
  4. 1 onion, minced
  5. 1 1/2 tsp salt
  6. 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  7. 1/4 tsp oregano
  8. 1/2 cup rice (raw) optional
  9. 1 cup tomatoe sauce or 1 cup fresh tomatoes, chopped

Directions

  1. Boil the vegetable (kale) for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from water and separate leaves.
  3. Mix remaining ingredients together, except tomatoes.
  4. Stuff leaves with filling and roll.
  5. Fasten with toothpick.
  6. Arrange in a saucepan.
  7. Pour tomatoes, cover and simmer about 1 1/2 hours in a low heat.
  8. Serve, share and enjoy!
