Asian Noodle Skillet Recipe



  1. 1 1/2 c. broccoli florets
  2. 1 med red bell pepper, cut into 2 inch long strips
  3. 2/3 c. celery, sliced diagonally
  4. 1 c. carrots, slices
  5. 1 sm onion, sliced into thin wedges
  6. 1/2 Tbsp. fresh ginger root, peeled and finely minced
  7. 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  8. 2 x garlic cloves, pressed
  9. 1/8 tsp Tabasco pepper sauce
  10. 1 1/2 Tbsp. light soy sauce
  11. 1 1/4 lb boneless beef sirloin steak, cut to 1/4-in strips
  12. 2 pkt (3 ounces each) beef-flavor ramen noodles
  13. 4 c. reserved cooked vegetables


  1. Heat 1 Tbsp.
  2. oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add in ginger root, garlic and vegetables to skillet; stir fry 5-6 min or possibly till vegetables are crisp-tender.
  4. Toss soy sauce with warm vegetables and set aside.
  5. Heat remaining oil in skillet over med-high heat.
  6. Add in beef, half at a time, and stir fry 1-2 min or possibly till outside surface is no longer pink (don't overcook).
  7. Remove from skillet; keep hot.
  8. Add in water, bring to a boil.
  9. Remove noodles from package and break into pcs; stir into water along with seasoning packets.
  10. Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
  11. Simmer 3 min or possibly till noodles are tender and most of the liquid is abdorbed.
  12. Return beef and add in vegetables to skillet;heat through.
  13. YIELD: 8 Servings
