Never Fail Pie Crust(Double Pie Crust)

Ingredients

  1. 4 c. sifted flour
  2. 1 1/2 c. shortening
  3. 1 egg
  4. 1/2 c. ice cold water
  5. 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  6. 1 tsp. sugar
  7. 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

  1. Combine flour, sugar and salt.
  2. Put shortening in a chilled bowl and add flour mixture.
  3. Blend with pastry blender to a coarse meal.
  4. Blend egg and ice cold water together, then add vinegar and blend.
  5. Add to flour mixture and mix well.
  6. Roll out on floured surface.
