Pretzel Salad

Ingredients

  1. 2 1/2 c. crushed pretzels
  2. 1 2/3 sticks oleo
  3. 2 1/2 c. Cool Whip
  4. 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  5. 1 c. sugar
  6. 1 large pkg. or 2 small pkg. strawberry Jell-O
  7. 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries

Directions

  1. In a 9 x 13-inch glass cake pan, layer crushed pretzels and oleo.
  2. Bake at 325° for 10 minutes.
  3. When crust is cool, prepare second layer.
  4. Mix together Cool Whip, cream cheese and sugar. Mix well and spread on first layer.
  5. Dissolve Jell-O in water as directed.
  6. When partially congealed in separate bowl, add frozen strawberries that have been thawed.
  7. Spread this mixture on second layer.
