Icebox Fruit Cake
- 1 stick butter
- 30 large marshmallows
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers, crushed
- 1 lb. each: candied red and green cherries
- 1 lb. candied pineapple
- 1 qt. nuts
- 2 c. coconut
- Melt butter, marshmallows and milk over low heat.
- Add crushed vanilla wafers and cook until melted.
- Chop fruit and nuts and mix with coconut.
- Fold fruit and nuts into batter.
- Shape into a cake and freeze.
- Will keep in the refrigerator for several days.
