Italian Peas

Ingredients

  1. 2 Tbsp. bacon grease
  2. 1 small onion, chopped
  3. 1 (15 oz.) can English peas
  4. 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes, chopped
  5. salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Cook the onion in the bacon grease in a medium skillet until clear.
  2. Add the peas and tomatoes.
  3. Season to taste.
  4. Cook approximately 5 minutes over medium heat.
