Boston Cream Cake

Ingredients

  1. 6 Tbsp. butter
  2. 2 eggs, separated
  3. 2 tsp. baking soda
  4. 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  5. 1 c. sugar
  6. 1/2 tsp. salt
  7. 1 3/4 c. flour
  8. milk

Directions

  1. Soften butter and add sugar.
  2. Beat until smooth.
  3. Add 2 egg yolks, salt, baking powder and vanilla and beat.
  4. Use enough milk with flour for consistency.
  5. Beat egg whites and fold into mixture.
  6. Bake in 2 cake pans (buttered and floured) for 30 minutes at 350°.
