Swedish Meat Balls

Ingredients

  1. 1 lb. ground beef
  2. 1/2 lb. ground pork
  3. 1/2 c. minced onion
  4. 3/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
  5. 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
  6. 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  7. 1/8 tsp. pepper
  8. 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  9. 1 egg
  10. 1/2 c. milk

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
  2. Shape into balls the size of a walnut.
  3. Brown in 1/4 cup hot fat or vegetable oil.
  4. Remove meat balls and make gravy.
  5. Return meat balls to gravy; cook 15 to 20 minutes.
  6. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
