Cheese & Wild Rice

Ingredients

  1. 1 c. wild rice
  2. 4 oz. mushrooms, chopped
  3. 1/2 tsp. salt
  4. 1/2 tsp. basil
  5. 3 c tomatoes, crushed
  6. 3/4 c. black olives, sliced
  7. 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  8. 1/2 tsp. italian seasoning
  9. 1/2 c. onion, diced
  10. 1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

  1. Place 1 cup wild rice into 4 cups boiling water for 30 minutes. Drain. Repeat this process twice more for a total of 3 times. Add remaining ingredients to wild rice. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, covered. Then remove cover and bake for additional 30 minutes.
