Steak And Potato Casserole

Ingredients

  1. 2 1/2 lb. round steak
  2. 1/4 c. flour
  3. 1/4 tsp. salt
  4. 1/2 tsp. pepper
  5. 8 medium carrots, sliced
  6. 8 medium potatoes, sliced
  7. 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  8. 3 1/2 c. water

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Cut meat into serving size pieces. Pound flour, salt and pepper into meat and brown well.
  3. Arrange in 3-quart casserole.
  4. Place vegetables on top.
  5. Sprinkle with onion soup mix and add water.
  6. Cover and bake at 350° for 2 hours. Gravy may be made from liquid before serving.
  7. Serves 8.
