Pork Chops With Applesauce Gravy
- 6 to 8 pork chops
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. water
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. applesauce
- salt and pepper
- Salt and pepper pork chops and brown in a large skillet. Remove the chops and using the drippings make a thin gravy using flour and water.
- Stir in applesauce.
- Return chops to skillet. Scatter onion slices over and around chops.
- Cover and simmer for 1 hour or until chops are tender.
- Lightly season as desired. With mashed potatoes and a vegetable, this is a wonderful meal for a cold winter night.
