Pork Chops With Applesauce Gravy



  1. 6 to 8 pork chops
  2. 3 Tbsp. flour
  3. 2 c. water
  4. 1/2 to 3/4 c. applesauce
  5. salt and pepper


  1. Salt and pepper pork chops and brown in a large skillet. Remove the chops and using the drippings make a thin gravy using flour and water.
  2. Stir in applesauce.
  3. Return chops to skillet. Scatter onion slices over and around chops.
  4. Cover and simmer for 1 hour or until chops are tender.
  5. Lightly season as desired. With mashed potatoes and a vegetable, this is a wonderful meal for a cold winter night.
