Cheesy Chicken

Ingredients

  1. 2 whole broiler-fryer chicken breasts, halved
  2. 1/3 c. flour
  3. 1/4 lb. margarine
  4. 1 1/4 c. evaporated milk
  5. 1 1/2 c. grated cheese
  6. 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  7. 1 tsp. salt

Directions

  1. In shallow dish, place flour.
  2. In large, shallow baking pan, place margarine and insert in heated oven until melted.
  3. Dip chicken, one piece at a time, in flour, turning to coat, then place, skin side down, in margarine in baking pan.
  4. Bake, uncovered, in 425° oven for 30 minutes.
  5. Turn chicken.
  6. Bake 15 minutes longer.
