Water Chestnut Rumaki
- 7 oz. can whole water chestnuts, drained
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 strips of bacon
- 1/3 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. sugar
- Wrap chestnuts in bacon and secure with toothpick.
- Put in 9 x 12-inch pan and bake at 300° for one hour.
- Drain fat.
- Combine catsup, sugar and soy sauce.
- Pour over chestnuts.
- Sauce need not completely cover.
- Bake at 300° for 1 hour.
- Try to keep toothpick clean for people to serve themselves.
