Blueberry Salad

Ingredients

  1. 2 (3 oz.) pkg. blackberry Jell-O
  2. 2 c. boiling water
  3. 1 (15 oz.) can or 1 pt. fresh blueberries, baked in small amount water until tender
  4. 1 (8 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  5. 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  6. 1/2 c. sugar
  7. 1/2 pt. sour cream
  8. 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  9. 1/2 c. pecans

Directions

  1. Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water.
  2. Drain blueberries and pineapple.
  3. Measure liquid; add enough water to make 1 cup.
  4. Add Jell-O to mix.
  5. Stir in blueberries and pineapple.
  6. Pour into flat pan or Corning Ware dish.
  7. Cover; put in refrigerator until firm. Combine cream cheese, sugar, sour cream and vanilla; spread over congealed salad.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
