Cole Slaw

Ingredients

  1. 1 head firm white cabbage
  2. 1 stalk celery
  3. 2 green peppers
  4. 2 sweet red peppers
  5. 1 onion
  6. 2 Tbsp. prepared yellow mustard
  7. 1 c. homemade mayonnaise
  8. 1/4 c. vinegar
  9. salt and pepper to taste
  10. large head cabbage, shredded
  11. green pepper, sliced paper thin
  12. medium onions, thin sliced and separate the onion rings
  13. medium can or jar pimientos, drained and sliced (optional)
  14. 1 c. salad oil
  15. 3/4 c. white vinegar
  16. 1 tsp. celery seed
  17. 1 c. sugar
  18. 1 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

  1. Pour the hot dressing over the vegetables, cover tightly and refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving. Makes about 15 servings.
