- 2 1/2 lb. pork, cut in 2 inch squares
- 4 garlic cloves, pounded
- 4 tsp. soy sauce to taste
- 1 tsp. black ground pepper
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 2 c. water
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- Place the pork in a saucepan.
- Add vinegar, garlic, pepper, soy sauce and water.
- Cover the saucepan and cook slowly until meat is tender and most of the broth has evaporated (about 1/4 cup remains).
- Serve hot over steamed rice.
