Pie Shells

Ingredients

  1. 3 c. flour
  2. 1/2 tsp. salt
  3. 1/3 c. water
  4. 1 rounded c. shortening
  5. 1 egg
  6. 1 Tbsp. vinegar

Directions

  1. Blend flour, shortening and salt.
  2. Add egg, water and vinegar. Mix well and add to flour mixture.
  3. Divide in thirds.
  4. Roll on floured board or pastry sheet.
  5. Makes 3 shells or 1 shell and 1 two-crust pie.
