Cream Pecans



  1. 1/2 c. brown sugar
  2. 1/4 c. sugar
  3. 1/4 c. sour cream
  4. 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
  5. 1 1/2 c. pecan halves


  1. Combine sugar and sour cream in pan.
  2. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until sugars are dissolved.
  3. Cook until medium soft ball forms when tried in water.
  4. Remove from heat, add vanilla and nuts.
  5. Stir until a light sugar coating begins to form on nuts.
  6. Turn out on wax paper.
  7. Separate nuts by hand as you put on the wax paper.
  8. Let cool.
