Sour Cream Apple Pie

Ingredients

  1. 2 Tbsp. flour
  2. 3/4 c. sugar
  3. 1/8 tsp. salt
  4. 1 c. sour cream
  5. 1 egg
  6. 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  7. 2 c. Granny Smith apples, peeled and chopped
  8. 9-inch pie shell

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°. In a large bowl, sift together all ingredients. Add sour cream, egg and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Add apples and mix well. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350° and continue baking for 30 minutes. While pie is in the oven, prepare the topping.
