Candied Yams

Ingredients

  1. 2 (17 oz.) cans yams, drained
  2. 1/2 c. Karo light syrup
  3. 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
  4. 1/4 c. half and half cream
  5. 2 Tbsp. butter
  6. 1/2 tsp. salt
  7. 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

  1. Place drained yams in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Bake at 325° for 15 minutes. Place rest of ingredients in saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes. Pour mixture over yams and bake 15 more minutes.
