Walnut Vegetable Medley

Ingredients

  1. 3/4 lb. green beans
  2. 1 1/2 lb. carrots
  3. 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  4. 1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
  5. 1/2 c. Diamond walnuts
  6. 1/4 tsp. seasoned salt

Directions

  1. Cut beans into 1 1/2-inch lengths.
  2. Pare and slice carrots. Cook vegetables separately in salted water just until tender-crisp, about 10 minutes.
