Peach Or Apricot Butter

Ingredients

  1. 4 (28 oz.) cans peaches or apricots, drained
  2. 3 1/2 c. sugar
  3. 2 tsp. cinnamon
  4. 1 tsp. cloves
  5. 2 Tbsp. lemon juice

Directions

  1. Drain fruit and remove pits; puree fruits using blender or food strainer.
  2. Pour into crock-pot.
  3. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on high 8 to 10 hours.
  4. Remove cover during last half of cooking.
  5. Stir occasionally.
  6. Put in hot jars and seal.
